1. You're autistic. This is not meant as an insult. Autism is just a condition where a certain faculty does not develop, but others are heightened. It could be that the parts of your brain that respond to language AND parts that do so to music do not have enough active connections between each other. I am not a neuroscientist, so I couldn't tell you why or how. This will not be a unique condition, I'm sure.
