Self publishing?

I'm working with a group of outstanding editors at the moment to see if we can revive an old journal project of ours -- it was a victim of the GFC but it was a big blow to recover from and we're still hashing out some funding.  

Running a print journal effectively is an expensive venture, since we believe that contributors should be paid in both actual money and copies.  E-zines are all well and good but it's so damn nice to have something to put on your bookshelf.  

On a personal note, I won't be publishing again in any kind of traditional format (even e-versions) but I am in the process of collaborating with some visual artists to see what sort of fusion we can come up with.

Oh, these projects sound amazing! Hooray for the arts! We poets are so pathetically neglected

And, yes, I also love the feel of a book in my hands. Screens don't cut it for me. Even though I'm using one right now

It's so way to self publish these days why wouldn't you. Ebook it on amazon

Do you have links to any articles explaining how to do this?

I posted an article walking people through the process of self-publishing on Amazon at one point, even creating a book out of poems I had posted here,but I may have removed the article when I removed the book from Amazon. (Honestly cannot remember or find the article)
