the title opens the poem. while i enjoyed the read i never got much of her being a representation of the sea, if instead it was about her the wife of poseidon then i see no reason why she was away. the piece does have some cliche.....and i just realized i'm in miscellaneous .....an enjoyable read

--I was convinced that I had missed
--------your infinite blue horizons,
-shimmering empty expanse
-----and your terrifying
--unfathomable depths.

--When we met again
-----------I knew instantly that I had missed
-your intimidating growls,
--------------thunderous booming
--rumbles and roars.
-------Hissing, screaming,
-frothing,
------crescendo upon crescendo.

--Your whispers,
--------your moans,
-and your soft
------trickling lullaby gurgles.

Only then did I know I was back home.
