Alien

Congregated at this little bench,
we consume the unholy bread
and converse in foreign tongues
about our rulers and their laws.

Their ubiquitous regulations
discuss the imminent alien invaders
who will wholly inflict pain
with a banquet of opium spirits.

Which is why I elude political discussion, especially when enjoying well crafted beers.
