A poem
is not a word game, with an answer
written upside down in the right-hand corner of the page,
below the crossword puzzle.
You should not have to read a poem
and say 'oh. So this is what I'm being told.'
A poem that makes no sense for me but,
when read aloud (or silently),
has that sweet and intoxicating scent...
that is a poem.
