There is much in this poem that doesn't contribute to the overall story, and i don't think this story is articulated as well as it could be. However the meter and flow works well in this piece, and the rhyming scheme works, even though sometimes it feels like there is some lines that don't make sense but were added just for the rhyming. Over all though not a bad attempt
