Gravity is not a force, unless you mean a fictitious force like centrifugal force. Gravity is the effect we observe when a large enough mass distorts space/time. At the lowest point of where the mass distorts space/time we erroneous call it the bottom of the gravity well, but this simply refers to the curvature of space/time and the necessary force to overcome the distortion the body of mass has created in space/time. The greater the body of mass, the more force necessary to overcome the curvature in space/time that has been created. Thus there is no force called gravity, it is just shorthand for this distortion in space/time caused by a massive object. This is why it takes less force to leave the moon than the earth, not because the earth has more gravity than the moon. Why would the earth have more gravity than the moon? Was the moon somehow found lacking when god was passing it out? Gravity: what a ridiculous notion.
