Now Jimmy's dead...
#1
Jimmy and me, he weren’t my brother,
we just looked out for one another.
At night he slept, I was too scared to;
but when the day got in his head
he did the things I never dared do.
Now Jimmy’s dead.

Jimmy and me, we stole some money,
spent some on a crazy honey.
Girl had some class, we screwed her proper .
She’d call her pimp, or so she said;
we tied her tight with ropes to stop her.
Now Jimmy’s dead.

Jimmy and me, we ran like crazy,
hauling for breath then things got hazy.
I guess I fell, thought I was dying;
all my sight was blurred and red.
in sharp car-lights I saw him flying.
Now Jimmy’s dead.

Jimmy and me, he weren’t my brother.
I met him once, go find some other.
I wasn’t there, don’t know the address,
don’t know the dame, it’s like I said.
I’m trapped inside some lonesome madness.
(…now Jimmy’s dead)
