what just happened here was like me asking where have all the bands like the beatles and the stones gone
and you two showing me westlife or some other boy band.

i can'#t think off hand of a single punk group worthy of world acclaim.
it just seems such a short lived era in the annals of pop.

How about Ian Drury and the blockheads?
Who made the very funny "Hit Me with Your Rhythm Stick".
One of my favorites when I'm whipping some masochist!
