Anyone who is interested in learning to read and write carefully can do it. This is a workshop site based on giving at least as much, hopefully more, than you take. If this is not what you're interested in you may have chosen the wrong site. Best of luck to you, whether you choose to stay or go.(07-07-2015, 09:10 AM)milo Wrote: Hi to all . . .Thanks Milo,

Would like to post a poem in the funny poem (or any thread) thread to start but cannot see how to do it.
Or do I have to wait a couple of days before being released onto you all.?
Oh woe is me for I am lost
I know not whence to start
where to add my jottings
my poetry to impart.

But it is a BIG ask for enthusiastic budding newby poets to critique on people , when you know nothing ABOUT critiquing.
It is like wanting to learn how to drive, but before you can you must tell the teacher how bad he is doing , when you know nothing about good or bad yet, and worry if you do , he will fail you so you will not be ABLE to drive.
A dog chasing it's tail scenario.
Surely one must get in and swim before they know they are drowning?
And no doubt this will not count either as a critique.
