If you weren't trying to make a point, if you were deadly serious about
a bit of freebooting, then you'd need to paraphrase a bit more ambiguously;
or draw from older, more obscure (preferably both) sources.

As for myself, I've never stolen.

Of course, truth be know, I do, from time to time, squat on the heads
of my forbears. The one I'm squatting on might be ten feet tall, and the
rest below at least fifteen to twenty... but all you'll ever see is the
three feet of me.

Our finite life span makes comprehension impossible. If you were supplied
with food, shelter, and some drug that precluded the need for sleep (and
sex and other bodily functions) and this enabled you to read, view, listen,
and feel for your extended life of 200 years... you would, if you were good,
be able to see about six feet of the ten-footer I was squatting on.

That's why stealing works; and why it's absolutely necessary.
You may not need someone to tell you about the problems associated
with pissing into the wind; but love, as Dylan has proved by his
very lyrics alone, is impossible without theft.
