Cracked, wrinkled, sucked in
like a sack stretched then loosened then stretched
and now covering a mass of bones and flesh
that only takes up half the space -
And yet it still bleeds. Too dry, too thirsty;
the water doesn't fill
the other half,
It just leaks out from cracks
from a once solid wall.
like a sack stretched then loosened then stretched
and now covering a mass of bones and flesh
that only takes up half the space -
And yet it still bleeds. Too dry, too thirsty;
the water doesn't fill
the other half,
It just leaks out from cracks
from a once solid wall.
When it finally snows here, I'll catch a snowflake and put it in the fridge.
