It is the job of the plumber
to fix the broken pipe;
and the job of the artist
to break the glass.
If a plumber were to leave
the pipe broken;
and the artist refuse
to break the glass:
Then the glass
would never be half empty,
would never be half full.
The glass
(like the rest of us)
could only wait.
