Oh, I guess I didn't realize that it was a poem beyond reproach, but of course that is
why you put it here in Missileanus  Miscellaneous Poetry.

I shall endeavor uppermostly in my ongoing attempt to metamorphose my seriousness (gotcha sucker).
Of course my missananus poetry is, sans slightest trace of eggomania, above repoach.
Anyone proclaiming this obviousity is a sycophantically shallow creature vainly hoping
to prey on my nonexistent vanity as he cannot do so by his own merits.

"The embarrassment you all feel is entirely justified, as it is in keeping with the way the rest of the evening has gone. Basically no one thinks it's a good idea when a middle aged man reaches for a guitar...and that is interesting, because there have been a lot of spurious articles in the press recently about what is the last taboo in stand-up. Is it jokes about race? Is it jokes about rape? It isn't. In my experience, after doing this for the last five months, the last taboo in stand-up is a man trying to do something sincerely and well. People hate it. 'Oh no, he's not going to sing, is he? Do some rape stuff! Send us home laughing!'."
