my take on tasers and pregnant women.
for the speeding offence. naw, they had two cops who could verify each others statement, they should have been able to tell the woman she'll be charged with speeding and send her on her way.
there must come a time though when force should be used. in this case a tazer wasn't the thing to use. they should have gone to her house at a later date and if needed arrest her. they could have blocked her car in if they had to arrest her and if needed sedate her with a docs order.
it's a hard one.
it;s like if a 14 year old gives you a slap should you hit him, personally i'd rip his fuckin head off.
as for pregnant women who pose a physical threat to another person or officer. use whatever means are needed to stop the threat. even if it means shooting her in the belly.
