I became enlightened a number of years ago.

Many years ago I was working on the feed horn of an air defense (I was in
the U.S. Army) radar antenna when some fucking piece of unthinking dogshit
removed the giant red interlock flag and fired it up. I was, technically, sitting
in front of a 1,000,000 watt microwave oven. Luckily, I'd taken it apart enough so
it quickly shorted and destroyed about $60,000 of taxpayer money before it actually
had time to fry me. But for about one-half second the whole world coalesced into a sun.
Beautiful. Probably the closest I've ever come to enlightenment.

Question: what would it be if everyone drove a pink Volkswagen?
Answer: a Pink Car Nation. Ha! Put that on your lapel.

Question: What would it be if everyone drove a gray Volkswagen?
Answer: The Third Reich.
