I plead unusual circumstances in my two uses of "fool." The first usage is in a quote of Robin Goodfellow from A Midsummer's Night's Dream (that is it would be if human were changed to mortal.) I use the second "fool" as a counterpoint to the quote. Of course knowing the context of the allusion might help to clarify things. As reading is so out of fashion these days, one could watch the eponymous movie, starring Michelle Pfeiffer and Kevin Klein.
