Christmastide (word of the day poem)

Somebody get me off this site,
I'm burning dishes left and right.
Asparagus is lightly charred,
the kale is boiling way too hard.
The mushroom soup got barely saved,
just rescued from an early grave.
The silly rhymes won't stay away
this cold but sunny Christmas day.


Okay, hopefully I'm done now.  

There, there....it'll be OK soon. All gone away.
