Thanks JM, although it seems like you are the only one who wants to touch this one, for whatever reason Although I can't really call it much of a poem, more of a statement or observation really.

I feel like it says everything it wants to say in the last 2 lines.  The preamble doesn't read particularly interesting or enlightening - so little so that i stopped reading after line 4 the first time and didn't get the joke until someone else commented on it.

Even the end - though effectively sarcastic on the first reading - I wonder how well the metaphor holds up to additional scrutiny.
