Capercaillie (for Tom)

Thanks everyone for giving it a read and commenting. As many of you have noted I misspelled Tom's nom de plume, which should be "tec tak." I broke it into for the slight pause.

JM The phrase "kill them dead" a provincial saying in the area in which I grew up. It kinda went hand in foot with "I'm gonna kill you deader than dead," and the ever popular, "I'm gonna kill you so dead you'll be sorry." I guess one would call it redundant hyperbole.

Yes, with a shotgun cracked open, and lying over your arm, probably wearing a hunting jacket full of fresh game bird shotgun shells. Yet when the missus asks what we are having tonight Tom replies, "Scotch and...zzzzzz"
