alien world (limerick)

oh ours is an alien race
everyone tries to keep pace
a hug for your neighbor
is just too much labor
humanity's gone with no trace

I fear that the good people of Limerick, Ireland may think that this is about them.
On a more serious note, I do agree with you about the concept of neighbour which seems to have changed dramatically as society has grown larger regardless of whether it is spelt with or without a 'u'.
