Hi Brownlie. I liked this a lot. Nice mix of images. A few minor notes below, that may or may not help. Nice read. Thanks for sharing.

Bad meter....


I spied a placard painted here
Amidst the pandered fruits.
A blushing apple rendered cartoon"made cartoon" would fit your meter better. IMO
By yellow bus-like flutes.

I can speak of grass-roots, one that seems
To grow from wicker bowls,
And mushroom cartoon jubilee If "mushroom" is meant as both noun and verb here, it may need to be pluralized.
That turns to wholesale gold.

The other sprouts in puny leaves, For whatever reason, I don't like "puny"
And seeks to make a whole.
The placards signal dollar signs,
And artifice the soul.

The other looks beneath his sole,
And binds us to his boot.
I curse the magic father now
Beholding missive roots.

However, I fear the abstract
Demon who winds with words, Was "demon" ever at the end of L1 here? Feels like it wants to be.
And billows out a dragon’s pall
To choke the yearning herds.
