You can find the anvil structure of thunderheads in wikipedia. I didn't see a problem with pulling down columns with pitons and ropes. However, I think it failed overall because it was all metaphor without proper motivation, convincing emotion or back story. The title was probably me trying to be too clever, with 'crib' symbolizing 'home' and 'death' standing for the end of a marriage. No one could fathom a bed as a world either. I may try to re-work this.
