I wrote this for my loved one, help please

It is only when your eyes can’t see,
Dream comes to live
Elation or grief surely follows,
When life rose from her sleep

Once in a while she’s finding her prey,
Swapping your sane and emotions
Dragged or not,
It’s all on your own

above is my poem
I just can't find better vocabs since english is not my primary language
the thing is, with another vocabs with homophones it should be more beautiful

please help me
