Once a jolly swagman camped beside old billy's bong
under the shade of a Kool-aid tree
and he sang as he wanked and then he burst old billy's boil
"who'll be a pus-ridden pox hag like me?"

Guess it must be just me who doesn't equate being drunk or high with being inspired. Everything I've ever conceived -- including my children -- has been done in a stone cold sober state. Maybe that's why I'm not famous.

Is the last line a rhetorical disconnect? I note that you tried to avoid this observation by omitting any punctuation after "boil".
