Poor Rupert did not show well,
pet adoption days were hell.
He'd shiver and howl,
crawl under a towel
and wait to return to his cell.
Then he moved to a foster home
with a buddy who loved to roam.
They became quite the pair,
running round on a tear
with an urge to explore the unknown.
Bud had eyes seekers couldn't forget
in the thumbnails on findpets dot net.
He captured a heart
but the two couldn't part,
they'd become an inseparable set.
So now with adoption days done
Rupert lives having fun in the sun.
He became a lap cat,
who would have thought that
he'd become the affectionate one.
