it's all about the writing. while the napm get some feedback it doesn't get in depth stuff, it's just there to exercise the juices.
while i'm sure someone could use $250 we don't do the prize thing, 97% have basically got no chance of winning it. what i would suggest is this. if you se a poem and you'd like to use it as a spoken word poem, pm the poet and ask, most would let you and they would i'm sure feel flattered.
it's not you, it's just a site principle. here we're all winners. (it is great to see you taking part in the site though, and yes, you can write a poem, so just take part as best you can :J:
