Yeah, information on the web just falls into some sort of order like everything in the world does. Supposedly it's this parity in the internet that makes it exciting: memes and virals don't come from a major source that's pushing it, but rather has to disseminate organically.
I agree that it's good to see dissenting opinions, as it gives you perspective. Learned a good quote about that by Aristotle: "It is the mark of an educated mind to be able to entertain a thought without accepting it."
