the uk has always been a police state. we have cams on every corner.
but police brutality is less than most countries. it's something we learned to live with.
that said i have no probs with it. well nothing more than anyone else.
just read the story and i can't see anything out of the ordinary. maybe the drug testing but the drug dogs i have no probs with.
i also have no probs with the metal detectors. in my area the thugs are getting away with murder, litrally.
just an edit to clarify. some of the kids they target are obvious need to be sorted out thugs. the problem comes when they target non gang members etc and yes i can accept that something needs to be done about it.
