So you gave up your freedom to not vote? Has anyone ever contemplated that democracy has little to do with actual freedom? Democracy practiced for enough years becomes to resemble the edict "that which is not forbidden is compulsory". Of course just as soon as we run out of enough potable water (which is fast approaching), all of these social experiments in political science will go out the door when the government seizes control of your reproductive rights and we return to the feudal system.
