Good list. The first example is great.
in the wood there was a tree.
It numbered one, not two or three.
Obviously the forced rhyme, but there is something a bit self aware about it, which makes it sound deliberately silly, as if the rest will be something like...
But is it right or fair or good,
a single tree should be a wood?
