Everybody's kind of lame,
you can see it in their eyes
when they're talking to other people.
I laugh because it eases pain,
not because it's funny.
I smile when I'm embarrassed.
Being a human's humiliating;
if you can't do something
to overcome your natural condition,
you might as well get a job.
Time slows down
when the sun shines and it's warm.
You might not think so; but I do.
We don't have to be enough
alike to disagree.
Someone on the phone says,
"Yes, it is a beautiful day today,"
instantly they're sad and don't know why.
But it's obvious to see
the confused reflection in their eyes.
