Why look for something authentic
litany dulls us, the indigenous,
the collective, 'calm as Hindu cows.'

I want to tell Mr. Lucas
that is NOT how space works,
but we gargle lies, cry genius.

It's not your fault.
I'm not mad,
I'm not mad.

Mad for truth, maybe I won't find
through artists' faults, but they
always paint lies so pretty.
