if you were an athlete you should know better than to take pills that haven't been prescribed by a doctor. and if they enhance your performance the doctor would advise you and you can state that you're unfit to compete for x amount of weeks.

taking shit from a coach or trainer is stupid. first off they're not doctors, and second. of course they'll try and feed you steroids and crap. they want you to win at any cost. i think most athletes who get banned took the drugs knowing what they were doing.

athletics and other physical endeavors started out as sports for the purist. then cash and fame got involved. it fucked a lot of sports up.
and i think you're wrong. considering how many people get tested and the number of positives i'd say the majority are clean of drugs which enhance. (but i have no source)
