Thanks Malu,
Strangely, Christmas is the holiday I write about most, for me anyway, much more fodder for the cannon. That and a happy, jaunty poem is almost atypical for me. Halloween for me as a child was fun, but in a cliche type of way, I'm afraid not much to wrap a poem around. I enjoyed the creative side of Halloween, creating the costume (we didn't buy them from stores), or haunted houses. I guess I always enjoyed creating the things that people liked to experience, rather than experiencing things others had created.

"We love it too Dale. My wife and I dress up to give out candy, while we enjoy assorted hors d'oeuvres and cocktails."
I'm a kind of a, drink hot chocolate and eat my own candy kind of guy

How long after picking up the brush, the first masterpiece?
The goal is not to obfuscate that which is clear, but make clear that which isn't.
