The dark Santa's in reverse line was also the one that stood out by far to me. It was a great visual and I also especially liked how it refereed to a different holiday. I think that knowing that Halloween is your favorite holiday and that this is your first time writing a poem about it, I encourage you to write more about it! This poem seemed to be your parent perspective, I would love to hear about your experience as the child growing up and what this holiday meant to you then.
