i can't believe i'm saying this but i think benny's right. for most things including this sort of thing we have two extremes. the homophobes as CB calls them and the heterophobes as i just called them. both extremes would cancel each other out you'd think, but you'd be wrong they both bolster each others arguments. they're the petrol to each others hatred.
they should both step back and see that everyone, homo and hetero are human beings with the right to love and go out with who they want to.
the school was petty and sexist. in my opinion it should be sued. having the same sex partner in the usa is not illegal. people should be allowed to come and go without let or hinderence. (is that in your bill of rights, or does it say not with the same sex?) so for me it did wrong. protests and rallies condemning heterosexuals because of it would be wrong. for me, this is one of those occasions where the gov has a chance to show that it's for all the people. the principle should at the very least lose their job. as should who ever decided not to allow the girl to the prom.
