introduction to Green Ink

Nor do I write to gain notoriety as a poet and reduce whatever objects I tackle through ink and paper to it's lowest terms.
I write because I am human, and poetry is the unity of the human element and our very language has been strained in the beginning to make sense of our surroundings.

You write of complex topics,
... surrealistic nonsense,
Money that you had not had the satisfaction to have before you and give it's chance to later corrupt you.

I do not write for either of you that link words to form rhymes with no thought of life in mind,
transform your pen to write shakespearic words,
Connect with the minority,
repetitive takes on life that differ,
Gangs you belong to, A woman's sole pleasures,
thug to your end, rat on your friends? never!
See I performed all your strokes of your pen to rhyme in scribbles, how clever.

A poet knows that life is simple, cruel and confused in it's state and reduces it to it's terms to relate with us all. To choose to offer an escape, even for one minute from life's simple day rather than confront it is useless.
I treat paper as a confused youth like life is and write, not for an escape, but to give a message.

A poem can be simple, but never ordinary,
Those that stay up, tirelessly think up antagonistic complex phrases and associate it to what?
What meaning can you make me understand as you don't cut off your loose ends?

I write for those that understand simplicity in my meanings portrayed and in light of that develop their own perception, while seeing mine.

I am Green Ink.
'You are sad.' the Knight said in an anxious tone: 'let me sing you a song to comfort you.'

'Is it very long?' Alice asked, for she had heard a good deal of poetry that day.

'It's long.' said the Knight . . .
