Perhaps the final verse should say something like
Now you've packed me in
and I'm alone
with my cigarettes.
As it is, it seems rather a flat finish.

Before criticising a person try walking a mile in their shoes. Then when you do criticise that person, you are a mile away.... and you have their shoes.
