Maybe I could put a link at the top that says "click here for illustrated
version" thus giving a choice. But what about the ones were the image is not
just an illustration but part of the poem? On those I would have to omit
the choice link at the top which would cause additional confusion...
So I'm still trying to figure out a solution.

But you're not alone (I saved this because it's a great one):

But playing with these Hallmark images is so much fun; and what's a
hobby if it for ain't fun? And all those necked words out there;
surely there's room for a few that dress up cute. Smile
