Not sure if the actual poll question is confusing. Is it would you be prepared to mentor someone or would you like to be mentored? ...or equally both (as i read it)
I voted yes (but feel I would struggle to offer much beyond what i already am able to offer in the critique boards), but I like the idea. I would love to be mentored by someone with better skills than me, but wanted to also mention that i would not mind if the person doing the mentoring was on a similar level to me on some occassions as the different view point can sometimes yield a stimulating and mutually challengeing harvest of thoughts and ideas. (A sort of joint student study project that could perhaps then be just overseen by a mentor...if we were short of candidates with enough time for full on mentoring. Just an idea).
Ok just seen the other poll about collaborative workshopping.
sort of what i was suggesting above I suppose, but was more thinking that there would still be a teacher to mark the assingment after a set period.
