This is brilliant, I read it other day and laughed out loud at the end. Very funny and I like the way that you reel in the reader and deliver the line just after the right amount of suspense.

My therapist asked how I was feeling.
I told her people are idiots.
She then asked me how I was feeling.
I said living is a lot of work.
Again, she asked how I was feeling.
I replied my wife is being a bitch.
Once more, she asked.
I responded, "I'm getting a raise at work."
Finally, she asked me to please answer the fucking question. How am I feeling?
I looked at her, puzzled, and said,
"For a therapist, you sure don't listen very well."

fim, how am I feeling?? Uhm, I'm working today. . Actually, I feel joyous, with a slice of intense fear, topped off with two scoops adolescent shame.
