Q: what are the basic rules of poetry?

Q: if a picture paints a thousand words, how many words does it take to paint a picture?

What pictures need to be seen when we're still quibbling over the sanctity of marriage. Or who the hell knows about life in a kid's home... The wisest people I knew were poor Mexicans and talking with them I would always feel petty and get a better outlook on life. They were not going to Harvard... I knew a guy who could stop me in my tracks and call me out as a petty gossip.
