Expand Container-deposit laws to more states/countries
(quite a few already have it). They require collection of
a deposit on soft-drink, etc. containers. Whoever returns
it gets the deposit back. For list of states/countries and
more see:

Oh, and yes, almost forgot: Charging 10 cents (or equivalent) for those
damn plastic grocery bags so people will switch to reusable ones.
(That road led to a grocery store.)

The dark forces who fight against civil-rights for all. But hang on, it's coming.
( Though I think it's necessary for women to have [and be able to exercise]
their rights for this to work out without careful supervision [oops,
another damn compromise].)
P.S. Unfortunately, hanging on until women have (and are able to
exercise) their civil rights is going to take quite a long hang
( 37 generations? ).

Love isn't a prerequisite in these laws. What IS a prerequisite is
informed consent. (BTW, this is why, among other reasons, you
can't marry that kid you just picked up on the playground.)
Maybe this will be possible, pretty soon, for porpoises, dolphins,
killer whales, etc. , but dogs will take a while longer.
Cats? No problem there, I (and millions of others) know from
experience that they never, ever, not in a quadrillion years,
consent to anything.
