because everybody wants something different.
it's why the revolution (in the usa) will from now till a long time in the future be a conspiracy theory. they can't even fuck off the health insurance companies from having them over as they rip the public up the ass.
so in my non wise opinion. the public cannot get it together. if they could the politicians wouldn't be as cocky as they are.

don't vote for a single senator who says they want private insurance and watch what happens the next election. every senator will be saying no to private health insurance and the country would save a fortune and everyone would get treatment at a huge lower cost that country as whole already pays.
