Hi,
I'm 21 and I love language in general. I've discovered the joy of rhyming words when I was about twelve and have since written "poems" (looking back, not all of them really deserve that title) in my native language, German.
I've only started writing poetry in English a while ago, but I really enjoy it - there's something very different to writing in a language that you learned in an "academic" setting. In a way I feel like I am more aware of the language as a "human creation", since it doesn't come as natural as the language I've grown up with (and don't really remember "learning"). It's also a lot harder!
I really look forward to reading and learning from your poems - I am a little unsure whether I'll be able to give any useful feedback but I'll certainly do my best - and of course I'll very much appreciate any thought on my own writing (when I feel confident enough to post it
