Hey, new to the fun poetry forum. Thank you for the time. 
“Son”
Thinking through my advice to you I,
“I don’t believe a souls to blame.
Though, once you attempt to enslave her soul or put her in a cage,
the womans’ love may never be the same.
A fool trying to tame a tiger.”
Realizing then that I could have been kinder.
“Keep these: A cool head, strong stomach, pure heart and honest words.
And don’t be a fool, there’s always something you can learn.”
Dripping in relief when she whispered she’d been impressed.
Flowing with milk and honey, saturation at its best.
Her temple, a testament of what has been.
And excited for what will be, prayers from passer bys are served on coin
cold to the touch.
Kneeling deeper into prayer.
Submitting to deeper thinking
and we’re reminded why we’re there.
“Oh, and there’s always a chance for showers
so please remember what to wear.”
