She’s broken many hearts,
She’s done some bad things,
She’s pulled many pranks and other bad deeds,
She knows what she’s done and regrets it all,
She can’t forgive herself after all.

This is Alaska, this is she
who stands accused of villainy.
Who does not wilt ‘neath public scorn,
nor rue the day that she was born.
In truth an echo, after all,
of Eve’s performance at the Fall.
