Feelings hurt me
I don't want to know
Happiness has deserted me
Left me alone
Sitting alone in the back of class
Always being the one picked last
Unsure of what I did in the first place
With shaking hands, I cover my face
Hearts beat for a reason
Mine's like a drum
Waiting for the fear

Pinpricks to the heart

Slowly closing my eyes
