Hi AR,
This is very clever stuff. I was amazed that you managed to use so many cliche lines, and still managed to bind it together, so that it makes sense. Like this sentence: '"variety is the spice of life" and "when all is said and done" "X marks the spot."' I got a great laugh out of this poem, so thanks

thanks for the comments, I'm glad you enjoyed it. I'm not so sure about it being clever but it was good fun to write, and after quite a few mentions of cliche this past few days I couldn't resist writing it once I had the idea.
